Position : Head of Projects
As Head of Projects, you will lead a high-performing project delivery team, ensuring excellent execution across a portfolio of projects within the Business Unit. This position plays a pivotal role in project governance, commercial growth, client relationships, leadership development, and safe delivery.
You will be responsible for growing and managing a project pipeline that supports revenue and margin targets, while ensuring all projects meet statutory regulations, QHSE requirements, commercial obligations, and internal governance standards. Strong leadership is essential, both in guiding your team and in building trusted client and supply chain partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the safe and compliant delivery of all projects, ensuring strong risk management and technical accountability.
Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing project talent aligned to business growth.
Identify, scope, and secure new project opportunities across existing accounts and new clients.
Deliver all contractual commitments and ensure projects meet agreed timelines, budgets, KPIs, and quality standards.
Build and manage long-term external relationships to support pipeline growth and revenue targets.
Lead the bid, tender, and proposal process to secure new work.
Drive commercial performance through effective cost management, procurement, and resource planning.
Ensure adherence to QHSE policies, statutory compliance, and internal governance frameworks.
Provide strategic input into Business Unit planning and project development strategy.
Lead monthly and ad-hoc project performance reviews.
Support onboarding and capability development for new team members.
Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
5+ years of end-to-end project delivery experience within M&E, FM, construction, or critical environments.
Track record of leadership and development of project delivery teams.
Demonstrated success in building project pipelines and running a P&L.
Experience developing, presenting, and managing bids and proposals.
LEED AP, PMP, or CCM credentials desirable.
Strong technical understanding of construction, mechanical, or electrical disciplines is advantageous.
