As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide outstanding customer service while communicating clearly with visitors and team members. What You'll Do :

Conduct screening and inspection of personnel, vehicles, and packages entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and / or prohibited items.

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the location management.

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by responding to inquiries and offering assistance as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Monitor surveillance equipment and / or security-related systems to observe activities within the logistics and distribution environment.

Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily logs or reports as required by Allied Universal and location protocols.

Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate, including evacuations and / or lockdowns as directed by site procedures.

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements :

Must be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
