Job Title : 2nd Shift Supervisor – Warehouse Operations

Location : Carteret, NJ

Reports To : Warehouse Manager

Shift : 2nd Shift

Language Requirement : Bilingual – Spanish / English

Job Summary :

We are seeking a proactive and experienced 2nd Shift Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations team. The ideal candidate will ensure safety, efficiency, and timely fulfillment of customer orders. This individual will be responsible for managing the shipping team and optimizing warehouse processes to meet performance and delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide hands-on leadership to warehouse employees to ensure safety , quality , and on-time delivery performance.
• Coordinate Shipping and Receiving schedules, respond to unplanned downtime, and maximize workforce productivity.
• Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency, team collaboration, and proactive problem solving.
• Ensure customer order fill rate goals are achieved consistently.
• Manage and direct the Shipping team to meet daily operational targets.
• Oversee accurate and timely shipping / receiving of finished goods, WIP (work-in-process), raw materials, and waste.
• Track, trace, and expedite orders and pick labels to maintain on-time deliveries and smooth warehouse flow.
• Address customer complaints promptly; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Follow up with carriers to ensure OTIF (On-Time In-Full) shipments.
• Deliver constructive feedback to team members and support performance improvement.
• Conduct performance evaluations to foster development and strengthen team capabilities.
• Enforce company policies, monitor attendance , and take corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards , DOT regulations , and OSHA requirements ; lead safety discussions and training.
• Partner with the management team to reduce errors, build team skills, and improve warehouse efficiency.
• Spanish fluency required – must be able to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking employees.
