Client Relations Representative - Manufacturing
Principal Manufacturing is seeking a Client Relations Representative to join our team in Broadview, IL. As a leader in fineblanking, conventional stamping and plastic injection molding, Principal Manufacturing sets itself above the competition.
This position will be responsible for interacting with external and internal customers to provide and process accurate, timely information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about products and services with a primary focus on order entry
Major Duties and Responsibilities :
- Manages customer orders / releases with a high degree of accuracy from order receipt through invoice payment for assigned customer accounts
- Attend daily / weekly forecast meetings. Negotating new ship dates when original dates cannot be met.
- Interfaces effectively with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face on order requirements.
- Assists production control with order status (Raw Material inventory, WIP, Outside Processing and logistics of current production requirements).
- Act as liaison between customer and PMC internal department when need arises.
- Maintains all customer specific requirements in Plex-Customer list.
- Communicates important information to Sales Account Managers and Sales Reps in a timely manner.
- Weekly metric reporting
- Update and respond to customers inquiry (initial response within 2 hours)
- Enter releases and orders in the ERP system
- Sets up and supports EDI as needed
- Filing of customer purchase orders and other required documentation
- Assist Sales / Account Management in reaching goal of total customer satisfaction
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent education / certification - Associates or College degree preferredManufacturing background with working knowledge of the production process flow preferredKnowledge of customer service principles and practices with minimum of 2 years of previous Customer Service experience.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Bilingual (Spanish) preferredDemonstrated ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment while being able to see PMC through the eyes of the customer.Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
