The scope of this position encompasses the requirements to ensure that procurement activity is consistently within the guidelines set forth in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), applicable government / customer regulations, and Bell's processes and procedures. This position serves as a subject matter expert on all Supply Chain audit and compliance matters or concerns including Small Business. Coordination with internal functional management, departments, staff, and external customers (both Government and applicable Customers) is a normal occurrence.

What you'll be doing as a Sr Supply Chain Compliance Specialist :

• Perform ongoing PO audits, identify trends, provide training for gap correction, and offer advanced audit support for internal and external audits, including follow-up on observations and findings.
• Review, record, and debrief procurement actions to ensure compliance with government, customer, and company processes, lead data preparation and support for external audits by US government agencies such as DCAA and DCMA, and assist in producing corrective action reports and manage corrective actions for small-dollar audits through completion.
• Ensure data requests and inquiries from government audit agencies are effectively communicated to responsible personnel and support areas within the organization, while proactively building strong relationships with procurement and other support teams to develop timely and effective responses to audit agency questions.
• Identify weaknesses in recurring trends, recommend procedure or process changes to improve efficiency while ensuring compliant execution, and review and monitor metrics to report findings to the Compliance Manager and respective Supply Chain Managers.
• Support the Small Business Officer in achieving Bell's small business goals by participating in Pre-RFP activities, communicating progress to upper management, enhancing program visibility, and assisting with initiatives like the Mentor Protegee Program (MPP) program, Indian Incentive Rebate Program, and FLRAA requirements.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and government compliance documents as well as represent Bell at events and trade shows and collaborate with cross-functional teams to increase small business participation and success.
• Develop and deliver training programs for Supply Chain employees to improve procurement package quality and compliance, including onboarding new employees through a "Training Academy," recurring Small Business training for all Bell sites, monthly compliance sessions, and process improvement initiatives as well as conduct targeted classroom trainings and share updates on improvement efforts.
• Help the Government Property group as needed as well as perform special projects and additional duties at the request of the Compliance Manager.
