Microchip USA is a fast-growing technology distributor located in the heart of Tampa. We are a crucial supplier for some of the world's largest manufacturers, sourcing and distributing high-end electronic components like semiconductors, integrated circuits, FPGAs, and MCUs.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive, and creative operations manager to lead and empower our operations team. You will drive key operations metrics to meet company goals and deliver an outstanding experience.

As the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day operation tasks, managing resources effectively, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

The Operations Manager must have the ability to think outside the box and devise creative strategies that are crucial to our organization’s success.

Supervisory Responsibilities :

Supervisory and management skills are required for this position.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of operational activities.
• Plan, organize, and manage daily operations functions including logistics coordination, supply chain, and quality control.
• Identify, monitor, and update operational key performance indicators to achieve productivity and cost reduction targets to improve customer satisfaction.
• Oversee, assess, and revise operational systems, processes, and infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and systems for the operations team and implement process improvements.
• Perform long- and short-term planning, goal setting, and change management assessments to manage the daily function of the operations department.
• Manages ISO9001 / AS9120 certification requirements and quality standards.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of management experience in operations
• Advanced skills in MS Office, CRM, and ERP software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent leadership and managerial skills
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability

This is a full-time position. The job is in-office, in-person only. Reliable transportation to the office is required. Our working hours are Monday through Thursday, 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM, and Friday 9 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM at our office in Tampa.
