Business Analyst
We are hiring a Business Analyst to strengthen our Client Services team by owning reporting, reconciliation, and proactive analysis across client accounts. This role ensures accuracy in case counts and budgets, surfaces performance insights, and creates scalable reporting solutions that empower the entire team.
The ideal candidate is mid-level, highly analytical, and able to take full ownership of results with minimal oversight. They are adept at spotting trends, building actionable reports, and anticipating issues before they become problems. Over time, this role may evolve into a companywide business analyst position, with broader responsibility for insights and reporting across teams.
Location : Remote (must be available 9am - 5pm ET)
Client Reporting & Reconciliation
- Case Data Reconciliation Own the process of reconciling signed case counts between internal systems and client reports, resolving discrepancies independently.
- Fund Reallocations Accurately process client requests to move budgets across projects, ensuring all updates are reflected in reporting.
- Custom Reporting Deliver accurate, client-ready reports that align with goals and expectations, while continuously improving report templates and workflows.
Proactive Analysis & Insights
Issue Detection Monitor conversion rates, lead quality, and profitability by lead type and field values to proactively spot risks and opportunities.Performance Analysis Provide insights into client and campaign profitability, pricing effectiveness, and lead monetization trends.Self-Serve Reporting Build dashboards and recurring reports that give team members visibility into critical KPIs without requiring manual analysis each time.Scalable Insights Develop frameworks for analyzing trends that can be reused across clients and campaigns.Operational Excellence & Financial Control
Accuracy Safeguarding Ensure all reconciliations, reallocations, and reports are error-free and backed by clear data sources.Process Improvement Identify inefficiencies in reporting and reconciliation, and create scalable solutions that save time and reduce errors.Collaboration Support the Director of Client Services by taking on data-heavy work, freeing leadership to focus on strategy and client growth.Client-Facing Support
Email Communication Participate in client email threads to share reconciled numbers, reporting deliverables, and updates related to reallocations.Light Client Interaction Join occasional client calls to clarify data, while leaving strategic discussions to the Director of Client Services.Qualifications
Experience 46 years in business analysis, reporting, client operations, or related analytical roles. Experience in legal case acquisition or performance marketing is a plus.Technical Skills Master level of proficiency with Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas) and reporting dashboards (e.g., Looker, Omni, Tableau, Power BI)Analytical Skills Strong ability to slice / dice data, reconcile discrepancies, and extract actionable insights across multiple variables (lead type, conversion rates, profitability, etc.).Automation & Tools Comfortable building repeatable reports, dashboards, and using AI or automation to accelerate data comparison and analysis.Ownership Able to take responsibility for results with little oversight, quickly becoming the go-to person for reporting and analysis.Communication Clear, concise written skills for client-facing updates and internal reports.Adaptability Ability to learn new systems quickly and thrive in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift rapidly.Personal AttributesExtremely detail-oriented and accuracy-obsessed.High ownership, proactive problem-solver who identifies issues before others see them.Curious and driven to dig into data until key insights emerge.Comfortable in a support role, enabling leadership to focus on higher-level strategy.Growth-oriented, eager to expand from client-level reporting into companywide business analysis.Benefits
