This role on eClerx ABU’s (Analytics Business Unit) pre-sales leadership team is a unique opportunity to help catalyze this growth.

As a lead in the ABU Consulting team for Customer Service Solutions for Cable, Telco and M&E industries, you will play a crucial role in communicating the value that eClerx’s solutions and services will drive for our clients.

You will collaborate with members of our sales and account management teams to discover how our clients could extract more value from their data assets across organizations.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, and will have previous work experience in the analytics, big data and / or consulting services industry.

They will be able to lead by example in taking a consultative approach to discover unarticulated analytical needs of our customers, as well as connecting the dots between customer requirements to our solution, service and consulting offerings, as a trusted advisor to the client

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and provide analytic solutions that positively address their needs.
  • Conduct discovery sessions, workshops and whiteboard sessions to identify, understand and define customer needs, objectives, roadmaps and / or business requirements to design solutions that can best address existing or prospective clients.
  • Contribute to pipeline and revenue generation through participating in, and at times, managing demand gen activities like webinars, seminars, workshops, conferences and other company events.
  • Create best-in-class presentations and present to senior executives (C-level, VP, Directors) to effectively articulate eClerx value proposition.

Lead the development and delivery of these technical presentations, demonstrations, proposals and reviews.

  • Spearhead RFP responses. Drive all aspects of successful pilot projects and Proofs of Concepts, from requirements to solution design to delivery and implementation.
  • Partner with client engagement managers, sales teams, analytics centers of excellence and other solutions consultants to move deals to close.
  • Communicate business requirements and context to the offshore delivery team after closing a deal to ensure a smooth transition from presales to implementation.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends and how those trends are reflected in our solution approach.
  • Collaborate with the eClerx Centre of Excellence for Analytics & AI / ML to create data tools for analytics and data sciences
  • Most importantly, a successful candidate will be a team player and collaborator within the eClerx community

Experience and Qualifications :

8-15 years of total experience; 8+ years of professional experience in data analysis, statistical / ML modeling or relevant consulting for an enterprise scale company and min.

3 years of pre-sales experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, engineering, information systems, business analytics or equivalent professional experience required;

MBA or related advanced degree preferred

  • Hands-on experience in handling large datasets using data and cloud technologies like SQL / SAS / R / Python / AWS / Azure etc. is a plus.
  • Experience in using a variety of analytical techniques like different types of regression, decision trees, deep learning etc. is a plus.
  • Experience with BI platforms like Qlik, Tableau, PowerBI is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to instill confidence in potential and existing customers. Strong presentation skills with the ability to connect seamlessly with both business and technical audiences.
  • Client-facing experience in managing analytical projects and teams
  • Successful history of manipulating, processing and extracting value from large disconnected datasets
  • Experience in using various reporting or BI tools to create analytical dashboards that depict critical KPI’s for business needs.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and spoken, as well as being able to present complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a comfort interacting with clients from the C-suite to managers to technical specialists
  • Be comfortable working autonomously or with broad guidelines; this role will often be working independently at client offices
  • Ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen and has been in a consulting role previously

LI-NP1

In the US, the target base salary for this role is $150,000-$175,000. Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.

We expect the majority of candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall throughout the range based on these factors.
