Duties / Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager and perform as such in the Site Manager’s absence.
• Be prepared to serve as the primary interface and point of contact with Government program authorities and representatives on technical and program / project issues.
• Oversee Contractor personnel program / project operations by developing procedures, planning and directing execution of the technical, programming, maintenance and administrative support effort and monitoring and reporting progress.
• Assist in recruitment of new hires and termination of employees either for cause or routine release.
• Screen all employee candidates to ensure adequate qualifications are met before offers are extended.
• Perform other duties as required.

Required Experience / Abilities

Physical Demands

This maintenance classification activity is usually accomplished in an indoor workshop environment. Activities may include climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands. May require lifting of objects whose weight normally will not exceed 50 lbs.

The diversity of working conditions range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, to an environment where inclement weather may subject the individual to severe changes in temperature, wind, rain, etc. May be required to work in areas where high noise hazards, exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and electrical shock hazards exist.

Pay

$70,000 - $105,000 annual salary plus benefits (New River MCAS, NC)
