Compensation

Hourly Pay Rate : $83.92

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1,760 - $1,880

ICU RN Job Details – Glendale, AZ

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (travel nursing contract)

Location : Glendale, Arizona 85308 (Phoenix metro area)

Healthcare Setting : Combined ICU (24 beds)

Shift : 12-hour night shifts (36 hours / week)

Patient Population : Adult & Geriatric

Charting System : Cerner EMR

Scrub Color : Any solid color; Navy Blue preferred

Start Date : October 13, 2025 (or ASAP)

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Arizona or compact state)

BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience

Experience with adult and geriatric patient care in critical care settings

Ability to float to Med Surg and Telemetry units as needed

Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

ICU RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill adult and geriatric patients in the ICU

Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 : 2 in a 24-bed intensive care unit

Monitor and manage patients with sepsis, respiratory distress, heart failure, and post-cardiac procedures

Assist with and perform ICU procedures : intubations, bronchoscopy, sedation, EGD, colonoscopy, paracentesis, thoracentesis, chest tubes, bedside lumbar punctures, and tracheostomies

Utilize Philips monitors and spectrum pumps for patient care management

Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic medical records (EMR)

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and provide support to Telemetry and Med Surg units as required
