We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This role focuses on keeping production machinery and equipment running efficiently through mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and process improvements. Key Responsibilities :
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment malfunctions using logical, systematic methodsPerform installation, alignment, and calibration of mechanical drive systemsComplete preventive maintenance tasks, including major service and overhaul of production machineryReplace failed parts and adjust equipment to operational specificationsMaintain lubrication schedules and ensure machinery reliabilityInspect, repair, and install electrical wiring, circuits, switch boxes, conduits, lighting fixtures, and other componentsMaintain accurate maintenance records in CMMS to track equipment performance and plan future maintenanceRecommend process improvements based on equipment performanceTrain and mentor junior technicians and operators on proper maintenance practicesRequirements :
High school diploma or equivalent; 2-year technical degree preferredMinimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong mechanical and electrical background with proven troubleshooting skillsFamiliarity with production equipment and shop tools (drill press, band saw, portable tools)Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and OEM manualsStrong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CMMS)Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and mentor team membersSuccessful completion of certification testing and any required online assessmentPreferred Qualifications :
Experience with manufacturing equipment repair and troubleshooting in physical production environmentsClear documentation of prior maintenance roles, including machinery types and products manufacturedSolid understanding of industrial electrical systems and circuitsTeam player with effective communication skillsSafety and Quality :
