Job descriptionProvide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the residential location. Monitor access points and verify credentials to control entry and exit for residents, guests, and vendors. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or potential issues. Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel. Maintain accurate logs and records of activities, access control, incidents, and / or any unusual occurrences as required by site protocols. Assist with emergency response activities as needed, coordinating with local authorities and Allied Universal management as appropriate. At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
