AWS Solutions Architect with DevSecOps Expertise

Overview

GovCIO is seeking an AWS Solutions Architect with DevSecOps experience. In this role, you will provide architecture, support, and development for a government application transitioning to AWS cloud. This position is fully remote and is a temporary role, lasting approximately from 8 / 1 / 2025 to 3 / 20 / 2026.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and code applications and modules using languages such as Java, Angular, and AWS.
• Maintain and enhance existing software applications, ensuring compliance with software standards.
• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle : planning, requirements analysis, development, testing, and quality assurance.
• Troubleshoot technical incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventive solutions.
• Educate teams on cloud initiatives, providing training and support as needed.
• Create blueprints for AWS-based hybrid cloud infrastructures, focusing on network, server, storage, security, and management software.
• Ensure timely delivery of quality solutions while adhering to budget constraints.
• Participate in defining architecture for cloud initiatives, incorporating industry best practices.
• Develop documentation and technical content, such as white papers.
• Plan projects collaboratively with fellow developers and create cloud product features.

Qualifications

Clearance Required : Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
