We are seeking a Quality Assurance Program Manager to join our Boise, ID team!

The Quality Control Services Manager oversees and directs all applications of the ISO / AASHTO Quality Management System for the following offices.

Limited travel throughout the NW will be required :

  • Seattle, Washington

Supervisory Responsibilities : Provides training, supervision, oversight, and support to all division and office managers for the implementation, maintenance, training, improvements, and auditing of the ISO and AASHTO Quality Management System.

Provides technical support and collaboration to resolve issues arising from testing and inspection, audits, management assessments, and monitoring activities.

Ownership and oversight of the Quality Management System Software.

Typical Tasks :

  • Quality Management System revisions
  • Author and revise Policies and Procedures, as required
  • Internal Audits
  • Author Corrective Action Reports, facilitate cause analysis, supervise progress to resolution; establish actions and verification of completion
  • Conduct risk analysis, Identify areas for improvement, and implement means for improvement
  • Host external audits, including planning activities to include documentation preparation and record verification
  • Participate in Leaders Meetings, Quality Committee meetings, and Planning Sessions
  • Training in Quality Management System software and ISO 17025 / AASHTO R18 requirements for company personnel
  • Audit quality-related suppliers and monitor Supplier Survey results
  • Maintain Customer Feedback Log, including processing any complaints through appropriate actions.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related technical field preferred
  • 5 years experience in managing QA / QC systems across multiple locations
  • Experience working with accreditation bodies such as AASHTO, CCRL, Army Corps of Engineers, WABO, OBOA, State DOT's.

Technical Requirements :

  • Experience as a Quality Assurance Program Supervisor and / or Manager over a program regulated by ISO 17025 : 2017, AASHTO R18-18, or similarly recognized accredited quality program.
  • Management education, training, and experience
  • Technical writing training and experience
  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience
  • Auditor training and experience
  • Computer training or experience
