Maintenance Supervisor

Overview

Provides the necessary maintenance support for the facilities, packaging equipment, power, refrigeration, and landscaping at the Hurlock, Maryland plant.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all maintenance and capital projects at the Hurlock Plant.
• Staff, schedule the maintenance department as appropriate, and ensure its effectiveness through training.
• Maintain a positive labor relations environment with subordinate personnel.
• Analyze production processes and methods.
• Recommend and implement changes and new programs that improve costs.
• Provide monthly summaries to the management of maintenance performance and capital project updates.
• Maintain a cost-effective preventive maintenance program.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and Good Manufacturing Practice policies and procedures in areas of own responsibility.
• Provide ongoing training and enforcement as appropriate.
• Responsible for reporting any food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
• Enforce GMP rules and guidelines.
• Identify and communicate food safety issues; lead and influence food safety initiatives.

Compensation

Base Pay Range : $61,500.00 - $102,500.00

Final base pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to; role responsibilities, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and / or internal pay equity. Please keep in mind that we consider internal pay equity and hiring at the maximum of the salary range uncommon.

Total pay may include other forms of compensation including short-term incentive bonus.
