Medical Assistant - Quick Care

We are actively seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant (MA) to become an integral part of our healthcare team. In this dynamic role, you will contribute to both clinical and administrative functions, ensuring smooth operations and outstanding patient care. You will be responsible for

• Interviewing patients to collect medical information and clarify the purpose of their visit.
• Assisting with patient immunization records by copying necessary documents.
• Preparing treatment rooms for patient examinations, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring they are adequately stocked.
• Sterilizing instruments and maintaining accurate logs according to established guidelines.
• Escorting patients to examination rooms and preparing them for examination by taking vital signs, including blood pressure, height, weight, and temperature.
• Documenting patients' medical history and vital signs in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Supporting medical staff during examinations and treatments by supplying necessary instruments and materials, as well as performing tasks like administering injections and removing sutures.
• Conducting laboratory procedures, including urine analysis, cultures, immunization, and EKGs.
• Collecting and preparing blood, tissue, or other laboratory specimens for testing.
• Administering respiratory treatments, injections, and immunizations in accordance with TrueCare protocols.
• Changing wound dressings and explaining treatment procedures and medications to patients.
• Discharging patients by following approved protocols.
• Scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries effectively.
• Referring emergencies or medical questions to appropriate medical staff.

The pay range for this role is $23.00 - $32.20 per hour. Pay transparency : Your salary will be determined based on factors such as education, knowledge, skills, and experience. We also consider internal equity among our current team members when determining offers.
