Job Summary And Qualifications
Provides expertise for operational initiatives for surgical services. The position will be responsible for building the organizational systems, processes and talent that support and enable achievement of the Surgical Services strategic agenda. This role requires up to 50% travel. Major responsibilities include :
- Executing surgical services operational agenda across organization.
- Supporting efforts and / or offering subject matter expertise in developing enterprise strategies related to reducing length of stay, patient experience, improving efficiencies in patient care delivery, market share analysis, design and construction, and evolving business and clinical analytics.
- Identifying, assisting in development and maintaining tools and resources that address performance.
- Assisting in development of evidence-based patient safety and quality improvement strategies and initiatives.
- Providing expertise to multidisciplinary groups at the corporate, division and facility level to ensure key operational initiatives are in alignment with organizational priorities.
- Through data analysis, identifying highest-value opportunities to proposed solutions to operational workflow and barriers.
- Developing, managing and monitoring overall operations for Surgical Services.
- Providing assistance with data analytics for development of business strategies.
- Ensuring that ongoing operational improvements reflect best practices and / or address actual and potential system vulnerabilities.
- Developing tools and resources for facility and division leadership / staff to further support safe and effective care delivery and provide efficient through put.
- Reviewing and trending data to identify and resolve potential system vulnerabilities.
- Providing assists in organizational planning and implementation of technology and automation systems.
- Identifying key process opportunities in surgical services during assigned assessments, and offering solutions to assist facility with action plan development.
- Maintaining effective communication with corporate, division, and facility leadership teams.
- Facilitating education, research and other professional activities.
- Partnering with vendors to ensure operational initiative alignment.
- Attending meetings and participating in committees as required.
- Practicing and adhering to the "Code of Conduct" philosophy and "Mission and Value Statement"
- Continuing professional development.
- Effectively managing personal project work.
Education & Experience :
