The Global Account Manager will act as the executive and senior leaders' interface with the client, ensuring alignment between their business objectives and Yokogawa's portfolio of solutions, including OpreX Integrated Solutions, digital transformation initiatives, and lifecycle services, etc.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Global Account Leadership : Serve as the primary executive and senior leaders' contact for the client, managing relationships across multiple geographies and business units.
- Strategic Planning : Develop and execute a global account plan that leverages Yokogawa's strengths in industrial automation, energy optimization, and sustainability solutions.
- Revenue Growth : Identify and drive opportunities for cross-selling Yokogawa's portfolio, including process control systems, measurement instruments, and digital transformation services.
- Collaboration : Coordinate with regional sales, engineering, and service delivery teams to ensure seamless execution of projects worldwide.
- Customer Success : Monitor client satisfaction, proactively resolve issues, and ensure excellence in project execution and lifecycle services.
- Market Insight : Provide intelligence on industry trends such as energy and sustainability, renewable energy, carbon management, and industrial AI to inform strategy.
- Executive / Senior Leader Engagement : Build strong relationships with C-level stakeholders, senior leaders, key area decision makers, positioning Yokogawa as a trusted partner in their energy transition and digital transformation journey.

Deep Industry Knowledge : Strong understanding of process industries (oil & gas, chemicals, etc.).Strategic Thinking : Ability to align Yokogawa's solutions with client sustainability and efficiency goals.Relationship Management : Proven track record of building trust with senior executives and key area decision makers in global organizations.Commercial Acumen : Skilled in ROI-based selling, contract negotiation, and managing multi-million-dollar accounts.Cross-Cultural Competence : Experience working across diverse geographies and cultures.Leadership : Ability to lead virtual, cross-functional teams in a matrix organization, ensure collaborative teamwork among GMA org. chart and various divisions.Technical Understanding : Familiarity with automation systems, measurement technologies, and digital transformation solutions.REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in engineering, automation, business, or related field.10+ years of experience in global account management or enterprise sales within industrial automation or related industries.Demonstrated success managing a major global account with significant revenue responsibility.Experience in automation, control systems, or industrial digitalization is strongly preferred.Willingness to travel internationally.Fluency in English; Japanese or other languages are a plus.Applicants for employment for this position must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Yokogawa.
