Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis (Master's preferred). Professional Engineer (PE) license required. Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in structural engineering. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, RAM, RISA, and other structural analysis tools. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Experience working remotely and managing projects independently is a plus. Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Senior Structural Engineer - Full-Time (Remote)
Position Overview
This firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Structural Engineer to lead the design and analysis of structural systems for a diverse range of commercial facilities. This is a fully remote position , offering flexibility while working on impactful projects across the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of structural systems using steel, reinforced concrete, heavy timber, and masonry.
- Provide expert consulting services to architects, contractors, and building owners.
- Review and guide junior engineers and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, etc.).
- Utilize structural analysis and modeling software to develop efficient and safe designs.
