Job Description

Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects in the property industry. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary project details. Analyze project specifications, drawings, and requirements to determine material, labor, and equipment costs. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing. Assist in preparing bid proposals and contracts for construction projects. Monitor project budgets and identify potential cost-saving opportunities. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all cost estimation processes. Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project cost and budget performance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Estimator should have : a strong understanding of construction processes and cost estimation techniques. Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in the property and construction industry. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. A detail-oriented approach to ensure accurate and reliable estimates.
