Responsibilities

  • Equipment Inspection and Diagnostics : Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and machinery to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
  • Routine Maintenance : Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks, to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Repair and Troubleshooting : Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Parts Replacement : Identify and replace worn or damaged parts, ensuring the use of appropriate tools and following manufacturer guidelines.
  • Recordkeeping : Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities to track equipment history and facilitate future troubleshooting.
  • Safety Compliance : Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on equipment to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance :
  • Conduct tests on repaired or modified equipment to ensure proper functionality and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaboration : Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and share relevant information.
  • Inventory Management : Monitor and manage inventory levels of spare parts and supplies, ensuring the availability of necessary items for timely repairs.
  • Customer Service : Provide support and communicate with end-users or operators to understand reported issues and relay information about repairs or maintenance schedules.
  • Tool and Equipment Maintenance : Keep tools and equipment in good working condition, performing regular maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Environmental Compliance : Adhere to environmental regulations and standards, ensuring proper disposal of waste materials and use of eco-friendly practices.

Job requirements

  • 3-4 years of hands-on experience in a relevant field, demonstrating proficiency in vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Must possess and maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major traffic violations, accidents, or driving offenses, ensuring a commitment to safe driving practices
  • In-depth knowledge of vehicle systems, components, and diagnostics, showcasing the ability to efficiently identify and address mechanical issues
  • Proven experience in performing scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, such as routine inspections, fluid checks, and part replacements, contributing to the longevity and reliability of vehicles
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and other issues efficiently.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record - Required
  • Must be able to pass a background check - Required
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
