POSITION SUMMARY :
Responsible for transforming training concepts, strategies, and learning objectives into clear, engaging content. Work closely with training team to produce consistent, scalable training materials that support onboarding, CARES culture, and ongoing teammate development.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
CONTENT CREATION & DEVELOPMENT
- Design and develop training materials and programs based on identified learning needs and company direction
- Develop micro-learning content, job aids, one-page learning tools, and training materials to reinforce learning process
- Build scenario-based learning content to include real-time feedback for teammates
PLATFORM-READY DELIVERY
Design and develop engaging learning content for various platforms and formatsDevelop tools and resources that are simple, intuitive, and easy for store-level teams to administerUpdate and revise learning materials based on company directives, industry changes, feedback, and evaluation metricsDeliver engaging training materials using various methods (e.g., training manuals, e-learning, on-the-job guides)CONTENT MAINTENANCE & IMPROVEMENT
Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information to develop and maintain relevant training materialsConduct needs analysis and assessments to identify learnings gaps and opportunitiesConduct research on current adult learning trends, methodologies, and technologies to enhance curriculum developmentGather insights from field observations and LMS data to determine training updates and process improvementsMINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS :
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Education, Instructional Design or related field or equivalent work experience. Combination of education and / or equivalent work experience in a related field considered3+ years of experience in training, instructional design, or learning program developmentExperience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), e-learning authoring tools, micro-learning, and platform-based communication toolsKnowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologiesExperience supporting optical, healthcare, retail or service-based organizationsExceptional verbal and written communication skillsExceptional presentation, facilitation, and delivery skillsStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsSkilled in prioritizing tasks and independently managing multiple projects simultaneouslyAble to work at all levels of the organizationStrong organizational skills and attention to detailSolid problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programsESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & WORK REQUIREMENTS :
