Essential functions
Lead a high-performing team of professional kitchen and cabinet designers, driving exceptional sales results through strategic pipeline management, strong conversion practices, and designs that align with each customers space, budget, and functional needs.
Drive the team to follow best practices in sales, design, and customer engagement to increase quote conversion rates.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination between Design Admin, Product Knowledge, Order Entry, Contractors and Customer Service.
Oversee project conversion and pipeline progression while coaching team members on effective follow-up techniques and closing strategies / skills to improve conversion rates.
Analyze team performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement in design quality, customer follow-up, and overall sales execution.
Lead training and professional development efforts to continuously improve the teams skills and sales techniques.
Develop and implement processes to ensure that all follow-ups with customers are completed promptly and effectively.
Design Sales Manager must have the ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others, with a commitment to a workplace of dignity and respect, in compliance with equal employment opportunity standards and regulations. Must possess the ability to accept direction and constructive criticism from supervisors and managers, in compliance with the Companys policies and procedures.

As a manager, the individual will play a key role in guiding the team toward understanding and embracing the companys goals and mission. The manager will ensure that team members are aligned with company objectives, working together to achieve success.
It is important that the manager fosters open communication, addresses any concerns, and helps the team stay focused on the bigger picture. While part of the role involves gathering feedback from the team, it is essential to reinforce a positive and unified approach that supports company direction while understanding when to bring employee concerns to Senior Management. Through effective leadership, the manager will help the team remain cohesive and motivated to meet both individual and company goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
Teams will be composed of designers who have experience as designers inside the company. Over time, there may be a situation where designers who have no experience in the company are added to the team in this case, it will be the managers responsibility to help improve the productivity and effectiveness of these new designers utilizing company approved training and development protocols.
Team Leadership & Development :
Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight to the team, ensuring consistent performance and adherence to company standards.
Provide administrative support including the review and compilation of commission reports to ensure team members are compensated in a timely and fair fashion.
Mentor, coach, and support the professional growth of each designer, fostering a high-performance team culture. It will be important to use good judgement when deciding how to provide mentoring / coaching, ensuring that the individual team members experience and tenure are taken into consideration.
Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback and identifying areas for skill and performance improvement. This should include regular reviews of monthly sales and targets, design packages, call monitoring, and seeking feedback from customers.
Fostering a collaborative environment where designers can share ideas, innovations, and best practices with each other.
Create and implement team goals that align with the companys overall objectives and support individual designer success.
Ensure the team stays current with industry trends, design innovations, design software, and sales strategies.
Maintain a commitment to personal growth and development by engaging in training related to design, sales, leadership and other important skills for the role.
Resolve conflicts and address performance issues in a timely, constructive manner to maintain a productive team dynamic.
Improve project workflows and efficiencies.

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Sales and Marketing, Business, Design or related field.
2020 Design Experience or relevant cabinet industry / sales work experience is preferred but not required.
At least 5-years of Management experience and a track record of high achievement in achieving sales targets and high conversion.
Skilled in retaining high-quality team members who exhibit our values.
Ability to break down complex ideas and solutions and communicate them in simple and easy-to-understand ways.
Experienced in commission and performance-based sales environments.
Team-player, excited about sharing secrets of success and elevating the performance of others
Outstanding record of attendance and reliability; follows established policies and procedures
Working conditions
Currently this position operates remote as a competitive advantage. While remote, the employee must have a dedicated workspace in their home to accommodate an office set-up. Work schedule and format may change at the discretion of Senior Management, and it may be necessary to be present at the company office as needed.
Physical requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a sedentary position involving sitting or standing; exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise perform repetitive tasks. Use of hands / fingers to enter data into computer and operate other office machinery such as calculator, printer etc. Talk / hear over the phone and direct face-to-face contact with team members.

This is a full time, 40-hour per week position. The managers schedule should be consistent with the Design Core hours (currently Monday through Friday 10am 4pm ET; subject to change at the discretion of Senior Management). As a leader, the manager should do their best to support the team based on the teams schedule and not ask the team to adjust to the managers schedule.
Compensation
Starting Salary : $75,000 annual base salary
Team Sales Commission : Commissionof team sales paid by pay period.
