- Key interface between the Engineering team and Program Management departments
- Ensures all technical performance, cost and schedule goals on the program are met
- Acting as an advisor to senior management and customers on advanced technical studies and / or applications
- Identifying and managing program technical risks
- Establishing schedule, resource, budget, and tool requirements for tasks
- Ensuring engineering processes are followed on projects
Required Skills :
Ability to obtain a Security Clearance4+ years experience and knowledge in developing, proposing, managing, implementing, testing products and system solutions in power systems or related including :Naval power or power conversion systems
Military production products with complex electro-mechanical assembliesProduction product lifecycle management4+ years experience in temperature, humidity, shock and vibration testing and certification1+ year experience leadership and direct participation in technical proposal development, cost estimation and Client planningPrevious DOD engineering development experienceRequirements analysis and definition experienceEVM / CAM experience2+ years of experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools2+ years of experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) toolsDesired Skills :
Effective presentation and communication skillsTechnical Masters degree (i.e., MSEE, MSCS, MSSE, etc.)Experience in the use of Product Development Process and methodologies ISO 9001 compliant processes)Agile Development Methodology (HW / SW)PMP CertificationDegree Requirement :
Bachelors Degree (Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering, or Mathematics, Computer Science) and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience, inclusive of 1 year of leadership experience,or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience,
Or In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
