POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for performing professional basic routine diagnostic procedures for patients from adolescent to geriatrics. Completesestablished competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
Other related duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM EDUCATION : Graduate of an accredited school of radiology
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE : 1-2 years in a general hospital setting.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE : Cardiac Cath Lab or Special Procedures
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSURE : Possession of current Texas State registration and ARRT
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSURE : Certification in specialty
REQUIRED COURSES / COMPLETIONS (., CPR) : BLS Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network.

Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs, rotates through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology to include OR, Urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements, and trauma;
assists practitioner with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures and trauma.
Education :
Required : Graduate of accredited Imaging Program
Preferred : Associate degree
Experience :
Required : 2-5 years of X-ray experience
Preferred : 1-3 years IR experience.
Certifications :
Required : ARRT (R); VI or CI preferred, BLS, state license if required
MI Only :
Required : BLS, state license if required
Preferred : VI or CI
