First Western is seeking a passionate and experienced Special Assets Manager to join our team. As a Special Assets Manager you will play a vital role in helping high-net-worth clients achieve their financial goals and work closely with our Credit Administration team to deliver comprehensive solutions that exceed client expectations.

What You Will Do

• Analyze and execute actions on assigned problem loans to maximize financial recovery.
• Identify and pursue loan workout strategies, communicating recommendations to management.
• Evaluate borrower ability to resolve problem loans, negotiating forbearance, settlement agreements, and restructuring of credit and repayment terms.
• Maintain regular communication with PLC, senior bank management, and credit administration, preparing PLC packets for distribution.
• Manage delinquent loan payments, working with PC's for resolution.
• Issue default and demand letters, monitor adherence to workout agreements, and initiate collection activities.
• Conduct site inspections, evaluate, protect, and dispose of collateral.
• Prepare PLC and collateral value assessment and analysis memos for designated problem loans.
• Evaluate collateral position to better secure loan and establish recourse to other borrower assets against charge‑off risk.
• Act as liaison between the Credit department and Finance on effective problem loan matters.
• Identify when needed and conduct ASC analysis.

What You Bring

Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field – Required

7‑10 years of experience in consumer and commercial loan workout, collection, and recovery – Required

Pay Range : $108,000 – $173,000 / yr

Job Classification : Full‑Time Exempt
