We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Plano, Texas. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to contribute to critical accounting functions while collaborating with various teams to enhance financial processes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in accounting, a proactive mindset, and expertise in compliance and reporting standards.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and review financial statements for monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting, ensuring compliance with U.S. accounting standards.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, including revenue, expenses, accruals, and prepayments, to maintain accurate financial records.
• Support audit processes by coordinating with internal teams and providing timely responses to external auditors.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and industry standards in all accounting activities.
• Conduct variance analyses to assist management in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
• Identify inefficiencies in accounting procedures and lead initiatives to optimize processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including financial analysts and FP& A, to provide valuable insights for business decisions.
• Manage journal entries and ensure proper documentation to maintain the integrity of financial data.
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Contribute to strategic projects aimed at improving overall accounting operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in accounting, preferably with exposure to Big 4 audit practices.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in preparing financial statements and conducting account reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and journal entries.
• Experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
