Clinical Director - Registered Nurse Requirements :
- Associates, Bachelors or Master's degree in nursing or related field Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in state of TN Minimum of 2 years of clinical management experience, including the supervision of nursing staff in hospice.
- Minimum of three years of experience in hospice, home health, or a related organization, with an understanding of hospice care provided by an interdisciplinary team.
- Business-minded nurse leader Compliance with accepted professional standards and practices.
- Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, people, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of reimbursement and appeal processes.
- Proficient in basic PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Must have a reliable vehicle / transportation, a valid driver’s license, required automobile insurance, and the ability to safely and independently operate the vehicle.
- Provide regular communication with hospice staff, including clinical staff, regarding pertinent organizational and clinical issues.
- Oversee the assessment, evaluation, intervention, and documentation of patient and family needs.
- Manage the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) program as directed, including conducting quarterly Designated IDT / CQI and safety committee meetings, coordinating with committee members on assigned surveys and audits, ensuring the completion of all required audit results and reports, completing meeting minutes, and maintaining the CQI Manual Ensure the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) staffing meets the requirements of company ratios per census.
- Oversee the maintenance of patient / client clinical records, statistics, and reports for evaluation and reporting of agency activities, ensuring all patient medical record documentation complies with company policies and local, state, and federal laws. Demonstrate the ability to direct, guide, lead, and support staff.
- Ensure appropriate data collection and accurate report generation.
- Collaborate with agencies and vendors for effective management of services.
- Establish and implement an overall growth strategy.
- Manage the financial resources of the company effectively.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Maintain overall responsibility for the success of the site.
- Experience with multiple sites is highly preferred.
- Requires the ability to travel.
