Position Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Operations to lead branch operations across Texas. This key executive role is responsible for driving operational excellence, business growth, and financial performance while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and customer service.
Strategic & Financial Leadership
Own and manage the P&L, ensuring financial targets and budgets are met or exceeded.Develop and execute strategic operational plans that support business growth and profitability.Collaborate with senior leadership to align operations with organizational goals and objectives.Partner with finance to optimize budgets, forecast financial performance, and ensure fiscal accountability.Provide financial forecasts and reporting to executive leadership and stakeholders.Monitor key financial metrics, including revenue, costs, margins, and operational expenses, identifying trends and areas for improvement.Identify opportunities and implement strategies for expansion, process improvement, and operational scalability.Operational Excellence
Develop performance metrics and track operational effectiveness to ensure alignment with company goals.Collaborate with enterprise departments including outreach, revenue cycle, clinical services, and compliance to ensure seamless integration.Oversee daily operations across assigned regions, ensuring service excellence, compliance, and efficiency.Lead process improvement initiatives and implement technology to optimize operations.Ensure exceptional patient satisfaction through continuous improvement initiatives and service enhancements.Act as a point of escalation for complex patient, family, and internal department issues, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.Provide consistent updates to leadership and the Board of Directors regarding operational metrics, financial performance, and strategic initiatives.Leadership & People Management
Lead and mentor regional management teams, promoting accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.Foster a culture of teamwork, engagement, and high performance.Interview, hire, train, and develop employees in alignment with PHS policies and procedures.Plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; and resolve complaints and conflicts.Champion employee engagement, recognition, and retention efforts.Compliance & Safety
Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance standards across operations.Maintain a culture of safety and report any accidents, illnesses, or injuries immediately.Support the organization’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.Communication & Representation
Represent the organization in meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including community partners and vendors.Make persuasive and effective presentations to senior management, public groups, and boards of directors.Prepare written materials, reports, and speeches using original or innovative techniquesQualifications :
Required Education & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.15+ years of healthcare experience within a Payer, Health System, Home Health, Hospital, or DME environment.10+ years of progressive business leadership experience in operations management, technology implementation, and turnaround operational strategies.7+ years of managerial experience leading multi-site or regional operations.Proven experience managing P&L with accountability for financial performance and operational outcomes.Demonstrated success developing and executing strategic and financial plans.Proven ability to drive, lead, and communicate change effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and present information effectively.Experience in EHR / EMR software systems.Solid organizational, management, administrative, and human relations skills.Style that exhibits emotional maturity, leadership, collaboration, and teamwork.Ability and willingness to travel throughout Texas.Preferred Qualifications :
Master’s degree (MBA or related health / business field).Lean Six Sigma certification.Previous experience authoring budgets, defending numbers and related strategies, and applying statistical measurement to quality improvement activities.Demonstrated experience leading operational turnarounds or large-scale process improvement projects.Skills & Abilities :
