To supervise and oversee all aspects of the Agency’s employees, clients and services.
Qualifications / Educational Requirements :
- High school degree and five years of experience in a health care related field or equivalent.
- Five years supervisory experience in health related services, administration & / or administrative experience in private duty home care.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, & QuickBooks.
- Excellent managerial skills.
- Excellent oral & written communication skills.
Responsibilities / Essential Functions :
The person in this position must be able to perform the following essential job functions with or

Ensure that the Agency is in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws.Be familiar with and maintain all the applicable rules of the HCQC within the Agency.Be familiar with and maintain all applicable rules of the HCQC, NVMedicaid, DHCFP, and NVDPBH within the Agency.Ensure the completion, submission and maintenance of such reports & records as required by the HCQC, NVMedicaid, DHCFP, and NVDPBH and / or other entities as required.Maintain ongoing liaison with the governing body, other management / staff members & community.Manage, oversee and promote excellent customer service.Profitably manage all business aspects and operations of the Agency. Oversee and perform or delegate billing on time and collect all monies owed the Agency by its clients within a timely manner. Oversee, manage and perform second party billing and vendor payments when applicable.Maintain appropriate personnel and administration business records and all policies and procedures of the Agency.Employ qualified personnel in accordance with job descriptions. Positively oversee all staff reflecting an Agency goal of developing well educated and informed, kind and compassionate care partners.Oversee employee education through the Care Academy Program. Management staff must attend training in Dementia and Alzheimer related fields including but not limited to the EssentiALZ program offered by the Alzheimers Association, and the Certified Dementia Practitioner Program. These are both compliance requirements for HCQC, NVMedicaid, DHCFP, and NVDPBH.Provide orientation to new staff and familiarize all employees with the policy and procedures of the agency.Implement strategies to enhance agency profitability and financial health while maintaining a strong focus on marketing initiatives.Monitor financial performance, budget allocation, and expense management to ensure the agency's financial stability and sustainability. Strive to strike a balance between marketing investments and financial goals to optimize agency profitability and long-term success.Oversee and accurately report a profitable payroll.Oversee and ensure payroll taxes are paid in a timely manner.Manage vendor relationships and all second party contracts of the Agency.Oversee payments to all vendors and second party contracts for the Agency ensuring all the bills are paid on time via check, credit card or automatic withdrawal.Consistently research ways to save the company money.Provide yearly performance reviews for all employees.Oversee all employee compliance including updating auto insurance and drivers license when applicable.Oversee employee paid benefits. This includes the Nevada NEST savings program and any other employee benefits the agency have.Oversee all Workmans Compensation cases.Oversee all unemployment cases.Track absenteeism rate and reprimand (by verbal and written warnings) if warranted, ensuring all employees are under the 5% company policy call off rate.Manage quarterly infection log book.Manage quarterly client record review book.
