Responsibilities
Assess clients’ condition during every visit and track any observationsTake and record measurements of vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate.Administer medication as prescribed by the client’s physicianDress or redress open wounds and assess the progress of healingContinuously educate clients, their families, and other caretakers on proper home health care strategies and proceduresProvide palliative care as needed to keep the client comfortableMake recommendations for devices or tools that might improve the client’s quality of lifeListen to clients and be prepared to respond to concerns or requestsQualifications
