Job Description

Job Title : Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Specialty : Nursing

Job Duration : Flexible

Shift : 10-hour shifts, 4 times per week, plus call (3 shifts per 6-week period)

Guaranteed Hours : Determined per facility requirements

Experience : 2+ years of Operating Room experience required; prior travel experience required

License : Current and valid nursing license

Certifications : BLS & ACLS required; PALS preferred

Must-Have : Competence in ortho, total joints, fractures (ankle / hip), gyn, robotic, urology, general, ENT, ortho spine procedures

Job Description :

• Provide high-quality care in the operating room setting
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) with Epic system
• Participate in cross-training for Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) as needed
• Engage with diverse surgical cases primarily including orthopedic, gynecological, urology, and general surgeries
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to best practices
• Participate in on-call rotation as required
• No block scheduling will be accommodated
