This role will support BMO’s strategic engagement in the evolving landscape of Digital Assets, including payment stablecoins, blockchain technologies, distributed ledger technology (DLT), cryptocurrencies, and related innovations. The successful candidate will contribute to initiatives involving legislative advocacy, regulatory developments, rulemaking processes, and external communications. We are seeking a candidate with strong legal research and analytical skills, a solid understanding of the regulatory and policy environment, and a demonstrated ability to assess and manage compliance and risk considerations in alignment with BMO’s legal and regulatory obligations.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated based on the number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
