Yeobo, Darling is a Korean-Taiwanese restaurant opened in June 2025 at 827 Santa Cruz Avenue, Menlo Park, California. Founded by chefs Meichih and Michael Kim, formerly of the Michelin-starred Maum in Palo Alto, Yeobo, Darling blends contemporary culinary techniques with the rich traditions of Korean and Taiwanese cuisines.

About the Position :  The Assistant General Manager works closely with the General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficient and elevated service, strong team performance, and guest satisfaction. This position is hands-on and requires a high level of organization, leadership, and problem-solving ability. The AGM must be proactive, adaptable, and ready to assist in all aspects of service and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, ensuring a seamless and high-quality guest experience.
• Lead FOH staff, ensuring adherence to service standards, hospitality expectations, and company policies.
• Train, mentor, and develop employees, fostering a positive, professional team environment.
• Support the General Manager in hiring, scheduling, and labor management.
• Oversee and support service flow, ensuring efficiency and attention to detail in guest interactions.
• Assist in inventory management, ordering, and cost control.
• Address guest concerns, complaints, and service recovery efforts in a professional manner.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, labor laws, and internal policies.
• Work with the General Manager and Chefs to ensure FOH and BOH collaboration.
