Civil Project Engineer

Location : Kent

Employment Type : Contract - Outside IR35

Hybrid working : 2 days a week in the office or onsite

Are you a skilled Civil Project Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? We are currently supporting the growth of an organisation, delivery key water infrastructure works across it's region.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on technically complex and high-profile schemes, contributing to the future of sustainable water management in the South.

Role Overview :

Deliver and coordinate civil engineering works from detailed design through to completion and handover.

Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.

Support the site team in planning, sequencing, and delivering civil packages safely and efficiently.

Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and process disciplines to ensure fully integrated project delivery.

Maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance throughout all stages.

Provide input into design reviews, risk assessments, and progress reporting.

About You :

Degree or HNC / HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).

Proven experience working within the water or wastewater sector

Strong understanding of civil construction methods, including reinforced concrete structures, pipelines, and water retaining assets.

Excellent coordination and communication skills with a proactive, delivery-focused approach.

CSCS / SMSTS / EUSR Water Hygiene desirable.
