We are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain basic building equipment in a large, temperature-controlled manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will support our Fabrication Department by ensuring that all facilities equipment is maintained and / or fixed as needed. The chosen candidate will have 1 - 5 years of relevant experience.

DUTIES & SCOPE :

• Maintain all facilities systems and equipment, including life safety and security systems.
• Conducts and documents weekly safety inspections for all departments and property.
• Maintain PM plan for all equipment.
• POC (Proof of concept) of estimates, negotiates contracts, and oversees outsourced repairs.
• Performs Pro-Active diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Ensures that maintenance work follows OSHA and corporate safety standards.
• Develop, maintain, and secure spare parts inventory.
• Ensures that maintenance goals and milestones are met and accomplished within budget.
• Is responsible for the communication to production bay leads for scheduled maintenance and / or repairs for machinery or equipment.
• Fulfills and completes all WO / IO designated for maintenance related issues.
• Keep the maintenance cage clean and always organized.
• Track all tools that are out for repair.
• Will work in other departments at times we are slow.
