Position : Registered Nurse – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

Shift : 3x12 variable – must be flexible to work days or nights

Experience Required : Minimum 2 years of recent independent PICU experience (must be within the last year)

First-Time Travelers : Accepted (preferred with prior travel experience, but strong candidates considered)

Weekend Requirement :

Certifications Required : BLS, PALS

Licensure : Active California RN license required

On-Call Requirement : None

Floating : Yes, within scope to meet facility needs (may float to CVPICU and NICU)

Floating to Sister Facilities : No

Block Scheduling : Not available

Locals Accepted : No

Guaranteed Hours : Hours are guaranteed after the facility’s call-off policy has been met

Night shift : 5 weekend shifts (Friday / Saturday) per schedule

One full weekend off per 4-week schedule

Floating : Yes, within scope to meet facility needs (may float to CVPICU and NICU)

Special Requirements :

Experience with ventilators, multiple monitors (specifically CVP and EKG)

High-acuity unit exposure : injury, respiratory failure, shock, multi-system failure, poisonings, near drowning, meningitis, post-op cardiac surgical care, neurosurgery

Flu vaccination required
