Corporate Communications Manager II
The Corporate Communications Manager II manages / leads development and / or execution of plans / programs / projects / strategies by designing and delivering communications consistent with TD's corporate standards and strategies, and in support of business results.
Corporate and Public Affairs (CAPA) delivers best-in-class external and internal communications to differentiate TD in the market and elevate our brand. We are hiring an experienced communications professional to work closely with their Corporate and Public Affairs (CAPA) colleagues supporting external and internal communications and media relations programs for TD Securities with a focus on Research and Corporate Strategy. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with superior stakeholder management, media relations and relationship-building skills, and proven experience in navigating complex issues. Experience in the financial and capital markets sectors is an asset. The incumbent will play a lead role in driving strategy and delivering external communications for TD Securities, including proactive and reactive media relations and owning flawless communication materials, including press releases, articles, media pitches and announcements, liaise with media and TDS spokespeople and senior executives, including senior research analysts and strategists to identify media opportunities and manage requests aligned to business priorities as well as provide strategic counsel to executives on reputational issues.
Understands key business partners' objectives, direction and ongoing initiatives and advises the leadership teams on appropriate communication strategies and tactics. Develops / manages the execution of internal / external strategic and tactical communications on behalf of senior management, ensuring the enhancement of TD's presence with key stakeholders, highlighting TD's brand, community, and innovation initiatives.
