Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Asset Integrity Engineer to join our client’s Oil & Gas operations team. This role will focus on threat assessment, risk analysis, and inspection program design to ensure the reliability and integrity of pipeline and facility assets. The position will report directly to the Manager of Asset Reliability and Integrity and play a key role in maintaining safe and efficient operations across the company’s infrastructure.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct threat assessments and risk analyses for pipeline and facility assets.
- Develop, implement, and monitor inspection programs to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support for asset reliability initiatives, including failure analysis and mitigation planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess asset condition and recommend improvements to enhance integrity and performance.
- Analyze inspection and operational data to identify trends and areas of risk.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and present findings to management.
- Support field inspections and audits as needed (minimal travel required).
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering , Chemical Engineering , or a related field required.5+ years of relevant experience in asset integrity, reliability engineering, or risk management within the oil and gas industry .Strong understanding of pipeline systems, corrosion mechanisms, and inspection methodologies .Proficiency in risk-based inspection (RBI) , threat assessment , and integrity management systems .Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and reporting abilities.
