Government Underwriter with DE / SAR

A company is looking for a Government Underwriter (Wholesale).

Key Responsibilities

Underwrite FHA and VA loans, as well as other loan types including Conventional, Bond, and USDA

Communicate regularly with Loan Officers and Processors regarding loan status and maintain accurate documentation

Assist with training for other mortgage positions and manage underwriting resources effectively

Required Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of five (5) years of specific government underwriting experience

Valid CHUMS and / or LAPP / Sar designation for FHA and VA loan underwriting

Recent experience with underwriting Conventional loans

Demonstrated knowledge of DU and LP systems

Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
