POSITION SUMMARY
Michelin Connected Fleet, a Services and Solutions subsidiary of Michelin, is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our accounting team.

This role will assist with the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, including record of transactions, maintenance of accounting records, and ensure compliance with required reporting.
This role will report directly to the Accounting Manager at Michelin Connected Fleet North America.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Build Our Source of Truth : Support month-end close activities by recording journal entries and preparing supporting schedules.
Execute With Rigor : Ensure transactions are timely and accurate, and that expenses are accurately coded and allocated.
Own & Analyze The Data : Respond to inquiries from vendors or employees and research and resolve concerns or discrepancies.
Drive Our Improvement : Build processes and ensure that they are well documented (rooted in the correct IFRS guidelines) and adhered to.
Be A Trusted Partner : Lead up, down, and across the organization by surfacing the right information and collaborating to execute of the right plan of action.
Support Cash Execution : Verify and execute invoices or employee expenses, executes check or payment runs, reconciles balances and maintains records.
Drive Best-In Class Hygiene : Support improvement in our internal controls processes to better align with global Michelin standards and IFRS guidelines.
Manage To Key Milestones : Assist in year-end or monthly / quarterly accounting procedures (e.g. audits)
Fail Forward / Be In The Arena : Focus on progress over perfection and accelerate our transition towards a test & learn culture.
Manage The Systems Transition : As we transition our underlying systems infrastructure, limit business interruption and find opportunities to make future processes more scalable.
