Since 1983, RJ Electric has established itself in Orange County as an electrical contractor, specializing in industrial and commercial electrical design, service, and installations covering Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Diego, and San Bernardino Counties. We have immediate openings for foreman electricians to run small to medium-sized projects. This is a great opportunity to join our growing team as a Foreman Electrician in the southern California area. Responsibilities :
Responsible for the coordination and completion of all phases of projects (from beginning to close out) on time within budget and within scope.Works mostly independently but receives support from a Project Manager on specific assignments, objectives, complex features, and possible solutions.Performs quality control review of design, calculations, specifications, or drawingsImplement safety protocols to protect yourself, the job site and maintain a safe environment for allDocument and manage daily progress, changes, or modifications to the project scopeWillingness to travel, accommodations will be providedQualifications :
Strong knowledge of the construction principles / practices and of other trades, not limited to electrical.Thorough understanding of electrical drawings, wire diagrams, schematics, and specificationsSolid knowledge of electrical codes and installation methodsMust be able to work independently and / or manage a small crewMust be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs., work on elevated heights, and in extreme temperaturesStrong work ethic, self-motivated and desire to work in a team environmentEffective troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsStrong verbal communication and writing skills, between the field and officeProfessional appearance and good customer serviceKnowledge of the control and repair of circuits and motorsPossess a clean and valid driver's licenseWhen applying for a position, you may be subject to a background screen (criminal records check, motor vehicle report, and / or drug screen), depending on the requirements for the position. Experience :
State-certified journeyman electricianMust be in the electrical trade for at least 5 – 10 yearsCurrently running small projects for 2 – 6 years
