Front Office Specialist I - Pediatric Clinic

Our team values professionalism, teamwork, and a friendly, patient-focused environment. Position Summary : The Front Office Specialist serves as the first point of contact for patients and families, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy clinical setting. Responsibilities : Greet and welcome patient and visitors inCheck patients in and out promptly and courteouslyVerify insurance, update demographic information, and process referralsSchedule appointments, and manage provider’s scheduleCollect co-pays, outstanding balances, setup payment plans, and reconcile cash drawersAnswer phones, manage in-basket messages, and respond to patient inquiriesMaintain accurate patient records, assist with scanning, faxing, and handling medical formsCoordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations, uphold patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations Qualifications : High school diploma or GED required.Minimum 1 year of front desk experience in a medical office setting, pediatrics preferred but not requiredBilingual preferred but not requiredEclinical works EHR experience preferred but not requiredStrong customer service and communication skillsProficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft OfficeDetail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesPositive, professional attitude and ability to work well in a team environment Schedule : Monday–Friday Benefits : MedicalDentalVisionPaid Time Off Company DescriptionNorthside Pediatrics Associates is a growing Pediatric practice located in a new and well equipped office at the HCA Conroe Hospital Campus.
