SAT ENGLISH TEACHER
We are seeking dedicated and experienced English teachers to join our academy and teach high school students preparing for the SAT exam.
The ideal candidates should have a strong background in teaching English at the high school level and be familiar with the SAT curriculum.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement English lesson plans aligned with the SAT curriculum
- Provide engaging and effective instruction to help students improve their English skills, particularly in reading comprehension and writing
- Assess student progress in English and provide regular feedback to students and parents
- Administer English practice tests and analyze results to identify areas for improvement
- Offer individualized support and guidance to students to help them excel in the English portions of the SAT
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance in English
- Collaborate with other English teachers and staff to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive learning experience
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching English at the high school level
- Thorough understanding of the SAT exam structure, content, and strategies, with a focus on the English sections
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to motivate and engage students in learning English
- Proficiency in using educational technology and online learning platforms for English instruction
- Fluency in English
