Job Description : Full Time, $57K-62K / year + benefits, paid time off

North and South Seafood & Smokehouse, a locally owned casual restaurant, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Front-of-the-House Manager to join our team. Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the front-of-the-house, including hosting, serving, and bartending, to ensure outstanding customer experiences.
- Manage the Front-of-the-House team, providing guidance, training, and support to promote a positive work environment.
- Create and maintain employee schedules to ensure appropriate coverage during peak hours and events.
- Foster strong relationships with customers, addressing any concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and back-of-the-house staff to ensure efficient service and timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Implement and enforce health and safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships to maintain adequate stock levels and control costs.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance overall restaurant performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and customer preferences to recommend menu updates and enhancements.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a casual dining setting.Proven track record of successfully managing front-of-the-house operations, including supervising staff and ensuring exceptional customer service.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle challenging situations with composure.Knowledge of local health and safety regulations, as well as experience implementing and enforcing compliance standards.Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.Proficient computer skills, including experience with POS systems and restaurant management software.To apply, please submit your resume and a cover letter highlighting your relevant experience and why you are interested in joining our team.
