As a Security Officer - Auto Center Patrol - Overnight Shift in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol an auto-focused location, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone on site. Your visible presence and regular patrols will support a secure environment while you deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication. Job Schedule : DayTimeMon11 : 00 PM - 07 : 30 AMTue11 : 00 PM - 07 : 30 AMFri11 : 00 PM - 07 : 30 AMSat11 : 00 PM - 07 : 30 AMSun11 : 00 PM - 07 : 30 AM.

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to incidents and emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious activity.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while upholding Allied Universal standards.
  • Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with company and client requirements.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site procedures or Allied Universal guidelines.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
