The School of Public Health at Georgia State University is seeking to hire a part-time PC Support Specialist (Temp) .

WHAT WILL YOU DO :

This position is responsible for deploying troubleshooting and maintaining computer systems in the School of Public Health at Georgia State University.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE :

  • Leverage software imaging and deployment tools (SCCM and Jamf) to install / update OS and applications on Windows and Mac computers.
  • Document the maintenance conducted on hardware and software in the ticket tracking system (ServiceNow).
  • Provides technical support for audio / video and other specialized hardware as needed (e.g. Computers and audio / video systems in classrooms conference rooms and event venues etc.)
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelors degree and two years of related experience; or a high school or GED and six years of related experience; or a combination of education and experience.

    • Preferred Requirements :

  • Word PowerPoint Excel Access Data Entry / Ten Key Form Letter.
  • Time management and Productivity Problem-solving and Critical thinking Teamwork and Collaboration Communication skills and Adaptability and Flexibility.
