Key Job Details – Med / Surg RN Travel Assignment Location : Charleston, SC 29425 (South Carolina healthcare jobs) Assignment Length : 13 weeks (December 15, 2025 – March 16, 2026) Facility Type : Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Hospital, Magnet Status Shift : 3x12-hour day shifts per week (07 : 00 – 19 : 30); 36 hours / week Weekend / Holiday : Every other weekend; holiday rotation required Floating : Float to various medical-surgical floors at Main Hospital and Ashley River Tower Charting System : EPIC EMR Scrub Colors : Royal Blue or White top with Royal Blue bottoms Estimated Weekly Salary : $1420 - $1530 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active South Carolina RN License or Multi-State / Compact RN License (must be active prior to start) BLS certification (American Heart Association) Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical RN experience Proven experience with adult patient populations Ability to float between med / surg units as needed Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted) Strong clinical skills : isolation precautions, IV management, oxygen therapy, rapid response / code teams Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care on various medical-surgical units Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Administer medications, manage IVs, and monitor patient responses Document and chart patient information using EPIC EMR Respond to rapid response and code situations as needed Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards Participate in scheduled holiday and weekend rotations Adapt to floating assignments and varying patient ratios (typically 1 : 6) Why Choose Charleston, SC?
