Sr. Director Of Talent Acquisition

Overall Purpose

The Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition will lead our global recruiting function. This role will oversee the end-to-end talent acquisition strategy, build and mentor a high-performing team, and drive innovative practices to ensure the organization attracts, hires, and retains top talent. As a senior leader, you will partner with executives and stakeholders across the business to shape workforce planning, strengthen talent pipelines, and enhance processes that enable scalable, sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of recruiters and talent acquisition professionals.
  • Build organizational capability within the team to deliver on hiring needs across all functions and levels.
  • Talent Acquisition Strategy
  • Design and execute a talent acquisition strategy aligned with business priorities and workforce planning objectives.
  • Lead the transformation of Talent Acquisition into a high-performing, future-ready function that fosters agility, resilience, and long-term business impact.
  • Workforce Planning & Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with executives (ExCo and COOs), HR Business Partners, and business leaders to translate workforce plans into actionable hiring strategies.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on talent market trends, organizational needs, and hiring forecasts.
  • Ensure alignment between business goals and hiring capacity, balancing immediate needs with long-term workforce planning.
  • Operational Excellence
  • Drive continuous improvement of recruiting processes, metrics, and reporting to enhance efficiency, quality, and candidate experience.
  • Establish, track, and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress and impact.
  • Ensure compliance with hiring policies and applicable labor regulations.
  • Employer Brand & Candidate Experience
  • Partner with marketing and communications to enhance the company's employer brand and talent value proposition.
  • Champion an exceptional candidate experience that reflects the organization's culture and values.

Qualifications

15+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, with at least 5+ years in senior leadership roles. Proven track record leading and scaling recruiting teams in complex, fast-paced environments. Expertise in workforce planning, recruiting strategies, and process optimization. Strong business acumen with the ability to align talent strategies to organizational goals. Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills at the executive level. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring practices. Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decision-making. Background and drug screen.

Physical Requirements : Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and / or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and / or external customers. Employee must be able to perform essential functions and physical requirements of position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Incumbents will follow instructions and perform other related duties as assigned by their supervisor. The base pay scale for this position in New York, NY in USD per year is : $220,000 - $274,000. Additionally, candidates are eligible for a discretionary incentive plan and benefits. This pay scale is subject to change and is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, nor a promise of any specific pay for any specific candidate, which is always dependent on legitimate factors considered at the time of job offer. Early Warning Services takes into consideration a variety of factors when determining a competitive salary offer, including, but not limited to, the job scope, market rates and geographic location of a position, candidate's education, experience, training, and specialized skills or certification(s) in relation to the job requirements and compared with internal equity (peers).
