We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Solar Energy Sales Consultant to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating leads, providing information to potential customers, and closing sales to help homeowners and businesses transition to renewable energy. You will educate clients on the benefits of solar energy and the financial savings associated with installing solar panels. Duties and Responsibilities :

The essential functions include, but are not limited to :

  • Prospecting new sales leads through face-to-face and door-to-door interactions.
  • Meeting with prospective clients in the field to close deals by presenting tailored solar products.
  • Replicating successful sales strategies and approaches for consistency and effectiveness.
  • Ensuring a positive experience for all clients and prospects.
  • Completing assigned tasks from leadership.
  • Meeting sales targets set by management.
  • Submitting daily reports and area sheets.
  • Using designated applications to manage sales activities.
  • Maintaining a professional and pleasant demeanor with clients and colleagues.
  • Explaining products and services effectively or connecting clients with knowledgeable team members.
  • Generating leads and following up on prospects using company tools.
  • Overcoming objections to close deals.
  • Following up on sales pipeline opportunities.
  • Growing revenue through networking and referrals.
  • Qualifying homeowners for solar energy transition.
  • Scheduling free solar consultations with homeowners.
  • Representing Sol-Up with professionalism, integrity, and passion.
  • Adhering to quality, safety, and workplace standards.
  • Reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.
  • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications :

  • 2-3 years of proven sales experience with a record of achieving targets.
  • Ability to obtain or possess a California Home Improvement Sales License.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and discipline.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency with sales software and tools.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Access all work areas physically, with or without accommodations.
  • Prolonged sitting, standing, walking, stretching, and bending.
  • Work indoors and outdoors in various environmental conditions.

    Compensation :

  • $40,000 - $200,000+ commission-based, based on sales performance.
  • Estimated gross earnings of $120,000 annually.
  • Based on 48 transactions per year.
  • Independent contractor status (1099).
  • Schedule :

    Full-time, with responsibilities performed consistently based on business needs.
